Design and Display
In terms of display, the iPhone XS is the same as the iPhone X from the previous year. The screen size and resolution remain unchanged from that of the iPhone X: the 5.8-inch iPhone XS features an OLED display tech with 458 pixels per inch. But thanks to an increase in dynamic range, colours are now more vibrant on the XS screen.
Camera
While the 12-megapixels dual rear cameras on the iPhone XS are similar to that of the iPhone X, the camera upgrades are significant. For one, pixel size has been increased for better low-light photography. The Smart HDR mode also improves the quality and brightness of your photos.
Battery
Battery life is adequat: the iPhone XS is said to be able to outlast the iPhone X by 30 minutes. Its Li-Ion 2,658 mAh battery can last you 10 hours of web browsing on a single charge.
The phone is equipped with fast-charging capabilities of up to 50% charge in 30 minutes; fast-charging USB-C-to-Lightning cable sold separately.
Value for Money
The iPhone XS’s price was one of its drawbacks, especially when you consider the phone’s lack of significant upgrades from the iPhone X. It's remarkably more affordable today, and a solid phone if you're coming from an older iPhone.
