Design and Display
The S10 5G is a large phone with a massive (and immersive) 6.7-inch AMOLED display that comes with a punch-hole camera block. Colours pop and are vivid with the phone’s QHD+ resolution.
The phone curves at its edges and sports an elegant glass backing. With a combination of Gorilla Glass 6, and IP68 water and dust resistance, the S10’s is designed to be durable.
Camera
The Galaxy S10 5G has three rear cameras like the S10 (16MP + 12MP + 12MP). But it adds depth-sensing and time-of-flight sensors on the cameras at the front and back. The additions allow the device to calculate depth more accurately, and are great for those who’d like to take their photography to another level.
Battery
To power the phone’s massive QHD+ display, Samsung equips the S10 5G with a large 4,500mAh battery. Samsung claims that the phone would be able to last you 24 hours on a single charge. The phone supports 25W fast charging via USB-C. Alternatively, you can charge it up wirelessly for up to 15W fast charging.
Value for Money
Samsung’s newer releases have drastically reduced the price of the S10 5G, but it is by no means a cheap phone. If you must have a 5G phone, the S10 5G is a great choice with its excellent screen, and capable cameras. But if you can live without 5G, you might be able to find more affordable options out there.
