Design and Display
The Galaxy S20 sports slim bezels and a high-quality build. The camera punch-hole at the top of the display has also seen a reduction in size to offer more screen real estate.
It has an incredible 6.2-inch OLED display with a maximum 120Hz refresh rate. The phone’s default resolution, Full HD+ (2220 x 1080), is more than adequate for daily tasks. You can choose to switch up the resolution in the phone’s settings.
Camera
On paper, the S20’s cameras seem identical to those on the S10. It sports a triple rear camera: a 12MP wide-angle lens, a 64MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultrawide lens. But in reality, the S20’s camera system sees great upgrades with improved low-light shooting, 3x lossless zoom, and 30x digital zoom.
Battery
To power the phone’s 5G capabilities, Samsung packed the S20 with a large 4,000mAh battery, a great upgrade from the S10’s 3,400mAh. For the average user, the S20 should last you through a full day of use.
S20’s fast-charging feature would come in handy to keep your device powered, especially if you're maximising the display technology with max brightness and 120Hz display.
Value for Money
With an excellent display, powerful battery, and great camera, the Galaxy S20 is easy to recommend: it's the most affordable Galaxy S20 device in the lineup, and sees significant upgrades over the S10.
