Design and Display
The Galaxy S21 FE sees a similar design language to that of the original Galaxy S21 series. It has the same rear camera, Contour Cut bump that houses its three lenses. But unlike the S21 that features metal, the S21 FE is made entirely of Glasstic.
The S21 FE is equipped with a Gorilla Glass Victus-topped 6.4” display with a 1080 x 2400 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display is bright and vibrant. S21 FE’s attractive screen is disrupted only by a small cut-out for the front-facing camera.
Camera
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has a triple rear camera setup that includes a main 12MP wide-angle camera, an ultra-wide 12MP camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera. On the front, you’ll find a 32MP snapper.
The phone’s triple camera system offers 4K60FPS video recording, Slow Motion (HD at 960FPS, FHD at 240FPS), and 30x Space Zoom. Even in low-light settings, images remain clear, bright, and full of details.
Battery
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is powered by a 4,500 battery pack that should last you through a typical day on a single charge. If you’re a power user, however, you may have to charge up your phone in the middle of the day. Fortunately, the S21 FE offers 25W wired fast charging and 15W wireless fast charging with compatible charging pads.
Value for Money
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE comes in two storage sizes. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant costs AU$999, and an 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model will set you back AU$1,099. For a phone with mid-range specs, the S21 FE’s does come with slightly higher price tags.
